Samir is an independent attorney based in Sarajevo with twenty years of experience in legal, regulatory and executive roles. He advises clients on corporate and commercial law, competition law, regulatory matters, employment, intellectual property, data protection, public procurement and tax, with particular expertise in the telecommunications and technology sectors.

Samir spent a significant part of his career at BH Telecom, where he held several senior legal and executive positions, including Executive Director for Legal Affairs, Organizational Management and Human Resources and Member of the Management Board. In these roles, he advised senior management on complex legal and strategic matters, represented the company before courts and regulatory authorities, and participated in M&A, regulatory compliance and major corporate transformation projects.

Samir has extensive experience in telecommunications regulation, competition law and the legal aspects of developing and implementing new technologies and services. His experience includes representing BH Telecom in proceedings before the Competition Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina, including the BH Telecom v. Sport Klub matter, as well as advising on the development and implementation of the “Moja TV” IPTV service. He combines his legal expertise with substantial executive and organizational management experience, enabling him to provide practical and commercially focused advice on complex business and regulatory matters. Samir is fully fluent in English and German.
