Umma is an aspiring junior associate who is a recent law graduate and was awarded the Golden Badge from the University of Sarajevo for her exceptional academic success. During her studies Umma participated in several national and regional moot court competitions before European Court of Human Rights in which she won first and second places. In the past years, she has volunteered in a couple of non-governmental organizations strengthening her research and writing skills.

As a representative of the board of the European Law Students’ Association, she organized legal clinics, conferences and international law schools advocating for human rights and rule of law. Stepping in the field of legal practice, Umma completed her internship at the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

She is fluent in English and has a good knowledge of German.
